JAMB Releases 1.8m UTME Candidates’ Results, Withholds 64,624
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of 1.8 million candidates who sat for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The results were announced by the JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.
Key Highlights:
1.8 million results released: JAMB has released the results of 1,842,464 candidates out of 1,904,189 who sat for the examination.
64,624 results withheld: The results of 64,624 candidates are being withheld due to various reasons, including verification, procedural investigation, and alleged examination misconduct.
Top scorers: 8,401 candidates scored 300 and above, while 77,070 scored 250 and above
Foreign centres: JAMB conducts examinations in nine foreign centres, including Abidjan, Addis Ababa, Buea, Cotonou, London, Jeddah, and Johannesburg.

Candidates can check their results by texting “RESULT” to 55019/66019 using the phone number they used to register ¹. They can also accept or reject admission offers with their fingerprint (biometric) at an accredited CBT centre or JAMB Office.
