He was born on October 18, 1988, in Gboko, Benue state, to Engr. Joseph Oluwaremi and Mrs. Omolara Sherifat Oluwaremi. His full name is Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi.
Kunle Remi was raised in a Christian home with his five siblings. He is from the state of Ekiti, but he was born in the state of Benue and grew up in the city of Ibadan in the state of Oyo.
