On Thursday 17th February 2022, the Ministry of Humanitarian affairs, Disaster
Management and Social Development Minister, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouk, stated. during the weekly ministerial briefing organized by the presidential media team that the Federal Government will be providing 300,000 N-Power exited beneficiaries with loan facilities from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) after Nexit vocational training. We also updated you last Thursday about a particular single fake text message circulating on social media stating that the Nexit training will be starting on the 17th of February 2022 and also stated that the training will last for 3 days. Please note that the message is not true as the source of the message is from a private number and not from Npower or Nexit.
The Lagos State Director (NOA) advised the beneficiaries to erase the erroneous perception of NPower as a “national cake. He maintained that the programme must be taken seriously as there is strict monitoring of the beneficiaries.
He stated this at an event held by the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation an online sensitisation for registered Batch C beneficiaries of the N-Power programme under the National Social Investment Programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the National Social Safety Nots Coordinating Office (NASSCO) and the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO) of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHADMSD).
