Makinde convoy Crash: driver dies, others injured in crash
On Tuesday, a collision claimed the life of a driver who was working on one of the vehicles that was part of the convoy of Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde.
The PDP Governor was involved in an accident When he was returning to Ibadan from Saki, where he had gone to attend a town hall meeting with members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in advance of his reelection bid.

Three other people in the convoy were also injured in the incident.
It was determined that the driver, identified as Ramon Mustapha, passed away at the scene as a result of being ejected from his vehicle after it finally came to rest after flipping multiple times.
According to one of our sources, things might have turned out differently had the driver been wearing his seat belt.

According to a second person who was present during the unfortunate incident but requested anonymity stated that the deceased driver suffered a head injury as a result of the mishap.
It was discovered that the crashed vehicle with the code name “Zebra 4” somersaulted, causing some bags of rice that had been purchased by various individuals on the trip to be thrown out.
According to information gathered by ejesgist.ng, the driver’s body was eventually laid to rest on Wednesday at his home in Amuloko, Ibadan, in accordance with Islamic rituals.

There was no response to any of the calls or text messages sent to the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, requesting confirmation.
