Even though the building was unfinished, it was once occupied by commercial motorbike riders who were expelled for posing a threat to the community.
“The building’s roof has been in place for more than ten years. It was once occupied by Hausa Okada riders, but they were expelled from the area by the community; otherwise, we would have recorded at least ten deaths and a large number of damaged bikes, according to a source.
Although the cause of the building’s collapse cannot be confirmed at this time, it may be related to the structure’s deterioration from long-term abandonment.
