Excited Crowd Welcomes Mbaka To Enugu 

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Catholic Chaplaincy’s spiritual leader, has rejoined the monastery after an eight-month absence.

Remember that the Church was shut down earlier this year, and on June 3, 2022, Mbaka was prohibited by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu from commenting on political matters as a result of the suspension of ministry activities.

When the ministry reopened, the Church converted it into a chaplaincy to keep an eye on its excesses.

Mbaka was moved from chaplaincy to the monastery by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga, in October 2022.

As a result, Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi was chosen to take over as the new chaplain of the Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy in place of him (Mbaka).

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, has returned to Nigeria to a raucous welcome from his devotees.

The well-liked cleric was greeted enthusiastically at home on Wednesday.

As part of the sanctions imposed on him by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu in 2022, Mbaka had previously been staying at a monastery in the United States of America.

The crowd that greeted him began at the Enugu airport, as seen in pictures posted on social media of people waiting in line to greet the well-known cleric.
