NNPCL Responds to Claims of Mele Kyari’s Suspension: Clarification and Official Statement Provided.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has refuted allegations that its Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, has been relieved of his duties by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Following the recent suspension of Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, there were rumors circulating on social media suggesting that Kyari had also been dismissed.

However, in a telephone conversation with Ejes Gist News on Saturday, Garba Deen Muhammad, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL, categorically stated that these claims are false.

Muhammad described the rumors as the work of mischievous individuals aiming to cause confusion and misinformation.
It’s worth noting that subsequent to Tinubu’s suspension of Emefiele, the governor was arrested by the Department of State Security.
