Tito Jackson, a member of the founding members of the renowned vocal group Jackson 5 and brother of the late pop icon Michael Jackson, died at age 70. Known for hits such as “ABC” and “I Want You Back,” news of the death of Tito was confirmed by his sons via Instagram on Monday, although the official cause of death remains unannounced.

For the second time in as many years, the Jackson family is mourning the loss of a matriarch within their musical family.
Tito, who sang with his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, leaves behind a lifetime of great music. Michael Jackson himself died in 2009.
Longtime friend and former manager for the Jackson family, Steve Manning, has confirmed to Entertainment Tonight the very sad news that Tito died on Monday.
His three sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson-who, as the R&B/pop trio 3T, gained fame back in the 1990s-took to Instagram with an emotional post to express their sadness over the loss of their father.
They wrote, “We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken.
“Our father was an incredible man who truly always put the needs of others before his own.”
“He will be missed greatly. It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us.
“Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is ‘Love One Another’. We love you, Pops.”
