Former President Goodluck Jonathan met with President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa in Abuja earlier today (Tuesday).
Tuesday, a media aide to the President, @DOlusegun, uploaded images and a video of the meeting to his Twitter account.
This comes barely hours after the 10th national assembly elected it president and speaker to lead the house for the next 4 years.
Senator Godswill Akpabio won the senate presidency by amassing 63 votes.

Senator Godswill Akpabio has officially assumed the role of Senate President, taking the oath of office immediately after his successful election.

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Tambuwal, promptly at 9:45 am.
With the oath administered, Senator Akpabio now assumes the responsibility of leading the Senate in its legislative endeavors.
