Muslim Group Breaks Silence On Reported Death Of El-Zakzaky, Calls it Rumours
The news that Ibraheem El-Zakzaky has passed away has prompted a response from the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC).
IHRC denied rumours that El-Zakzaky, the head of the IMN, the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, had passed away.

IHRC advised Nigerians to ignore reports that El-Zakzaky had passed away.
According to some reports, the Shi’ite leader passed away on Monday.
El-Zakzaky was still alive, according to the international Islamic human rights organisation.

Shiites were killed by Nigerian Army soldiers, who also destroyed El-Zakzay’s temple.
The incident happened after a supposedly Shiite attack in Zaria on Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, who was then the Chief of Army Staff.
