Last year, Dayo Amusa lashed out with severe curses against those who mocked her for being childless. The actress faced backlash from Nigerians for her support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate for 2024, and for seemingly taking a jab at a fellow colleague, widely speculated to be Iyabo Ojo, for not campaigning for him. The criticism targeted her personal struggles, prompting Dayo to go on Instagram Live where she angrily cursed her trolls, wishing them similar hardships.

Years ago, Amusa revealed why she remained in a toxic relationship that nearly destroyed her.

She explained that it was difficult to leave because she used to see herself as a fixer, until she realized that a broken egg can’t be repaired. She admitted that she often attracted emotionally unavailable men, narcissists, drug addicts, and sociopaths, and it wasn’t until later that she realized her desire to “save” them was the root of the problem.
