NECO e-Verify Portal has been unveiled.
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has introduced a new online platform called NECO e-Verify Portal, designed for result verification and confirmation. Prof. Dantani Wushishi, the Registrar of NECO, made this announcement during the portal’s official unveiling in Abuja on Thursday.
NECO e-Verify Portal serves as a solution for instant authentication of academic and basic information of prospective candidates seeking admission or employment in educational institutions and workplaces. The platform aims to streamline and expedite the verification process.

In support of this initiative, the Federal Government has directed heads of tertiary education institutions to utilize the portal for verifying the results of candidates who have taken the National Examinations Council Senior School Certificate. This directive reflects the government’s recognition of the increasing demand for result verification and confirmation, both domestically and internationally.
Prof. Dantani Wushishi emphasized that the introduction of the e-Verify platform aligns with the Council’s commitment to meet the growing needs of institutions and stakeholders in the education sector.
With NECO e-Verify, institutions can now rely on a reliable and efficient online system to verify and confirm academic results, providing them with a valuable tool for making informed decisions regarding admissions and employment.
