1) Prof. Onje Gye-Wado, a former Nasarawa State deputy governor who was kidnapped on Thursday night, was released after a ransom of N4 million was paid. The law professor was abducted from his country home in Rinza, close to Wamba, the capital of the state’s Wamba Local Government Area.
2) Festus Keyamo, a spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, characterised Peter Obi’s supporters as “mentally weak.” Obi’s supporters, known as Obidients, have been trending for controversial reasons over the past week.
3) Prince Bola Ajibola, a former judge at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, has been laid to rest in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Ajibola, a former Attorney-General of Nigeria and founder of Crescent University, Abeokuta, passed away at the age of 89.
4) Apple marketers in Kano State have expressed concern over the importation of rotten apples into the country by some accredited importers, claiming that if the situation is not addressed, it will spell disaster for innocent citizens and businesses across the nation.
5) The Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, was reopened yesterday for religious activities, one year after it was attacked by suspected armed bandits. The church reopened for Easter in the midst of a massive congregation celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
6) Prophet Tomi Arayomi, founder of RIG Nation and Pioneer Church in the United Kingdom, has announced his family’s departure from Nigeria until a “better Nigeria” The Department of State Services arrested Arayomi, his wife Tahmar, and their assistant, Emmanuel Ezerika, on Friday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
7) Seventeen people were killed in a fatal accident that occurred in Enugu State on Saturday. According to a statement released by the Corps Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Bisi Kazeem, on Sunday, excessive speed and route violation caused the accident.

10) A man identified only as Bendega has been accused of using his mobile phone, laptop, and camera to photograph and film himself and his female lovers engaging in sexual activity without their consent. It was discovered that after committing the crime, Bendega also sold the nude videos and photographs of his lovers.
