1. Chief Mujidat Folashade Tinubu Ojo, the daughter of President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urged Nigerians to support and pray for her father’s success in guiding the nation to the promised land. She made the appeal in Abuja on Saturday.

2. Saturday saw the opening of banks in satellite towns of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as directed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Journalists who observed the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) galleries of a number of banks in the Territory report seeing enormous crowds of customers.

 


3. Pastor Kayode Salami was arrested by the Ondo State Police Command after a woman was discovered dead in his church in Idanre, Idanre Local Government Area, state.
