Tanker Drivers Block Zaria-Kano Highway Over ‘Killing’ Of Colleague By Soldier
Following the alleged murder of their colleague by a soldier, protesting tanker drivers blocked the Zaria-Kano highway, causing unrest.
It was discovered that the incident took place on Wednesday around 3:30 pm, when the protesting motorists blocked the highway and caused hours of gridlock on the busy road.
The cause of the altercation between the soldier working for a construction company and the late driver was unknown.
However, it was learned that the incident happened close to Tashar Yari in Kaduna State’s Makarfi Local Government Area.
