MTN, a Nigerian mobile network operator, experienced service outages for a portion of its customers.
Customers were unable to use the mobile network operator’s voice, data, and SMS services, according to SaharaReporters.

The MTN outage started on Tuesday evening.
MTN, which is owned by South Africa, is the largest telecoms provider in Nigeria, the company’s largest market.
Some users have also expressed their frustration on social media.
In a message posted on Twitter, the telecommunications company apologised for the inconveniences, saying, “Due to an unexpected technical issue, some customers are unable to use our services at this time.
