Oby Ezekwesili, Ex-Minister sends message to Tinubu over Rufai Oseni
Oby Ezekwesili, a former minister of education, has urged Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election, to “quit trying to intimidate” Arise Television anchor Rufai Oseni.

This online newspaper reports that there was fighting between the Tinubu campaign and Arise TV.

This newspaper had previously covered how two top APC presidential campaign officials allegedly asked Arise TV to fire Oseni and other top staff members because they were deemed to be critical of the party.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Board of Editors of ThisDay/Arise News charged Bayo Onanuga, the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s director of media and publicity, and Dele Alake, the council’s director of strategic communication, with trying to intimidate and silence independent media in the run-up to the 2023 general elections in order to secure favourable coverage for their principal.

Ezekwesili criticised the APC’s misbehaviour.
“I advise @officialABAT the Presidential Candidate of @OfficialAPCNg and his Campaign Team to quit trying to intimidate @ruffydfire of @ARISEtv for his objective analyses as a journalist. Stop it!
“You have the ones singing your praise, so leave Rufai for Citizens. Be wise,” The former minister Ezekwesili wrote on her verified Twitter handle on Monday.
