According to some sources, he died in a humble rest in the Akwa-Ibom missionary home in Eket on Wednesday in his sleep.

His brothers and sisters are called Adeolu and Adola.

He was a central figure in the RCCG youth movement.

He used to be the senior pastor of various groups: of the RCCG House of Praise, the 1st Provincial Youth and the 8th Region.
