The Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially confirmed Adolphus Wabara as the substantive Chairman of the party’s BoT. Ejes Gist news can authoritatively reports.

Ejes Gist News reports that the former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, takes on the position of BoT Secretary, succeeding Kabir Turaki. The party, through Wabara, expressed deep concerns over economic hardships, rising insecurity, and the fall of the Naira.
Wabara, addressing the media after the 76th BoT meeting in Abuja, emphasized the BoT’s alarm regarding insecurity, corruption, and economic challenges. The party called on President Bola Tinubu to address issues such as corruption, insecurity, Naira devaluation, high fuel prices, food scarcity, and unemployment.

Despite the challenges, Wabara reassured Nigerians that the PDP remains united and committed to their well-being. The BoT, as the conscience of the party, urged all PDP organs, leaders, stakeholders, and members to stay united and focused.
Wabara concluded, “In this bid to strengthen itself, the BoT confirms Adolphus Wabara as its Chairman and Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi as Secretary in line with the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017).”
