Here is why PDP dissolves Ebonyi, Ekiti states executive with immediate effect
The Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee has approved the immediate dissolution of the Executive Committees of its Ebonyi and Ekiti State Chapters.
This was stated by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, the Honourable Debo Ologunagba, in a statement issued on Wednesday evening.

Ologunagba did not specify the reason for the dissolution, but he did say that it was the result of extensive deliberations and consultations by the NWC.
He noted that the decision was consistent with the 2017 amendments to Sections 29(2)(b) and 31(2)(e) of the party’s constitution.

“Following extensive deliberations and consultations, the National Working Committee (NWC) approves the immediate dissolution of the Executive Committees of the Ebonyi and Ekiti State Chapters of our great Party.
The statement continued, “The PDP charges all leaders, key stakeholders, and countless members of our Party in the States of Ebonyi and Ekiti respectively to remain united and focused on the task at hand.”
