The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has summoned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to answer for alleged anti-party activities.
The former Rivers State Governor has been called to appear before the party’s disciplinary committee.
This development was confirmed on Monday by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Ibrahim Abdullahi, during an interview with Channels TV.

He revealed that Wike had been formally notified through a letter from the party, requesting his presence before the disciplinary body.
Abdullahi expressed the party’s disapproval of Wike’s recent remarks, particularly his statement about “putting fire in their states,” which was directed at PDP governors.
He emphasized that such comments were inappropriate and that the party expects Wike to exercise more caution in his choice of words.

“Wike should be able to manage his words carefully; that was a very disappointing remark. We weren’t expecting him to say that, and we are not with him on that, to be honest with you,” Abdullahi stated.
