The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) has suspended Senator Chimaroke Nnamani (Enugu State) and Chief Chris Ogbu (Imo State) with immediate effect.
This is according to Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the party’s National Publicity Secretary.

He stated that the decision to suspend the duo was made after a thorough review and consideration of the Party’s affairs in the country, in accordance with the provisions of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017).
According to report, they were suspended for alleged anti-party activities.
According to him, the NWC also approved the suspension of underlisted Party members in Ekiti State for anti-party activities.
In Ekiti State, he named the suspended members as follows: Ayeni Funso (Ekiti North), Ajijola Lateef Oladimeji (Ekiti Central), Emiola Adenike Jennifer (Ekiti South II), and Ajayi Babatunde Samuel (Ekiti South III) (Ekiti North II).
Others include Olayinka James Olalere (Ekiti Central), Akerele Oluyinka (Ekiti North I), and Fayose Oluwajomiloju John (Ekiti Central) (Ekiti Central I).
“The PDP urged all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of our Party across the country to remain united and focused on the Party’s mission to Rescue, Rebuild, and Redirect our nation from misrule,” he said.
