A former Minister of Aviation and Director of New Media sub-committee of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the recent statement byvice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed

 

 

 

Datti Baba-Ahmed, in an exclusive interview with Channels Television, stated that the presidential election was rigged to favour the standard flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress defeated other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi have inaugurated their legal teams to challenge the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

 

 

Reacting to Datti Baba-Ahmed’s statement, Femi Fani-Kayode urged the Department of State Service to arrest the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

 

 

He added; “If Nigeria burns we have nowhere to run to but he can always run to his native Mauratania. Maybe that is his plan

He said:

“What is good for the goose is good for the gander. I appeared before the DSS and cleared myself just before the election.”

 

“I share the concerns and totally concur with the assertions and opinion of my colleague and brother, Festus Keyamo SAN, the Hon. Min. Of State for Labour, who has called for the invitation, arrest, investigation and prosecution of Peter Obi and his dangerous and deluded running mate, Dati Baba Ahmed.”
