I am deeply saddened by the destruction, carnage and Barbarity going on in Plateau State and some parts of Northern Nigeria.
As it is now, We can comfortably conclude that our country is under the power and influence of a bunch of murderous and heartless jihadists and strangers from foreign lands.
The truth is that they wish to continue the Saurdana’s avowed march to Islamise and conquer the middle belt and southern Nigeria much in the same way that their great grandfather, Usman Dan Fodio, had conquered and Islamised the north two hundred and Nine years ago.
The notion by some Christians and non-Christians that Nigeria cannot be Islamised is a terrible progression in error, that is what the leaders of Egypt and Turkey once said.
Both Countries used to be 99% Christian until they let down their guard. Now they are both Muslim countries with tiny Christian minorities.

However, it is worth noting that No one or group of people or religious faith has a monopoly on violence, Christians and non-Christians have a right to exist as equal partners in Nigeria.
Those who are promoting the culture of violence should know We are not cowards and we shall never bend the knee or bow our heads to the tyranny of foreign invaders who erroneously believe that they were born to rule and that we were born to serve.
I believe I speak for millions when I say that the indigenous and oppressed people and ethnic nationalities of Nigeria have had enough of these open threats of tyranny and violence and neither are we interested in being vassals, willing serfs and pitiful slaves.
I do not seek to insult anyone or any group of people or to seek the break-up of Nigeria through armed struggle with this write-up or any other write-up. I deplore violence, I believe in the unity of Nigeria, I believe Nigeria is a secular state and I am a man of peace, this essay is simply my contribution to my understanding of our history, national discourse, our existence and our values as a people.
I am not a racist or a religious bigot, I have nothing against Muslims, I have friends and benefactors who are Muslims, I only believe that if we must exist as a nation then we must have a Nigeria where we all ( Muslims, Christians and Non-Christians) have equal rights and privileges.
If not, How will history, posterity and justice judge us and be served if we all keep quiet and act as if we do not recognise the fact that there is evil in the land?
It is time to confront our collective enemies, if we have to do that we must do so with confidence and strength. We must invoke the words and memory of David, the greatest of all of the Kings of Israel when he met Goliath in the field of battle.
He said, “You come against me with shield and spear but I come against you in the name of the Lord God of Hosts, the God of the Armies of Israel. Today He shall hand you over to me and I shall slay you and feed your flesh to the birds of the air”.
And so it shall be for the Goliaths in our land.
We serve a living God who is strong and mighty in battle and we can never be subdued, defeated or conquered. It is time for the sons and daughters of David to rise and confront the enemies of God and humanity.
May the souls of all those who were cut short by the terrorists, bloodthirsty demons of war and ethnic supremacists rest in peace.
God bless Nigeria.
