Police Arrest Woman Found with Anti-Aircraft Ammunition in Nasarawa.
The Police Command in Nasarawa has arrested a woman found in possession of anti-aircraft ammunition in the Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
DSP Ramhan Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), confirmed the arrest to newsmen on Saturday in Lafia.
According to DSP Nansel, police personnel from the Keffi Division intercepted the suspect on Friday at around 5:10 pm based on credible information.
The suspect, who hails from Doro village in Katsina, was apprehended with a two-year-old child.
During the arrest, police recovered 124 rounds of anti-aircraft ammunition concealed in a gallon of palm oil, one Tecno mobile phone, and ₦78,500 from the suspect.

Preliminary findings revealed that the suspect had received a supply of ammunition at Rafin Sanyi village, Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. She was transporting the concealed items in a gallon of palm oil en route to Katsina State when she was intercepted,” Nansel added.
The Commissioner of Police, Umar Nadada, has directed that the suspect and the recovered items be transferred to the Force Intelligence Department at Force Headquarters in Abuja for further investigation.
