CP Shuaibu Is Dead
U.S. Shu’aibu, a commissioner of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), has died.
Tuesday evening, June 6, 2023, CSP Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), issued a brief statement on Twitter announcing the death of Constable Shuaibu.

According to the statement released by the spokesman for the Nigerian Police, CP Shuaibu passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, the same day the Force lost another senior officer to death.
CSP Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi tweeted a photo of the deceased Nigerian police officer with the caption “RIP CP Shuaibu. Why you again? It’s a pity.

Meanwhile, Cross River’s governor, Bassey Otu, has suspended recruitment into the state’s civil service.
His Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbeche, stated on Tuesday in Calabar that the Governor also requested a comprehensive re-verification of state civil servants.

In addition, the Governor mandated the revalidation of all recent promotions.
These measures are part of the plan to reposition the civil service, as stated by the Governor.
“This is consistent with the government of Cross River’s desire to reposition the state civil service to meet contemporary service delivery goals.
“It will also allow the government to effectively plan for the overall benefit of hardworking civil servants.
