Francisco Barajah: Mozambique Pastor dies after trying to imitate Jesus’ 40-day fast
Francisco Barajah, a pastor from Mozambique, reportedly died after fasting for forty days in an attempt to replicate what Jesus Christ did in the Bible.
This online newspaper gathered that he died while being treated at the hospital in Beira from which he was evacuated in critical condition.

On Wednesday, it was confirmed that the founder of the Santa Trindade Evangelical Church in the central province of Manica had passed away.
After 25 days of fasting, the clergyman had lost so much weight that he was unable to stand, bathe, or walk.

At the insistence of family members and believers, he was taken to a hospital days later, but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Due to his extreme weight loss and disfigured body frame prior to his death, church members and his neighbors have not been surprised by the turn of events.
