The accused individuals, charged with kidnapping Ahmad and reportedly demanding a ransom of N1 million for his release after 20 days in captivity, have faced the consequences of their actions.
Justice Adenike Akinpelu, in delivering the judgment, emphasized that the trio, by engaging in a conspiracy to commit the crime, were equally culpable, regardless of whether they were physically present at the scene of the abduction.

She underscored that the convicts had orchestrated the kidnapping, claiming their victim was a kidnap suspect, with the intention of extorting money from him.
