Delta State – In a shocking turn of events, the proprietor of Great Leaders International School in Agbor-Obi, Delta State, has been arrested on allegations of having Canal knowledge of a four-year-old girl. According to the Delta State police spokesman, Bright Edafe, the arrest was made after disturbing details emerged about the alleged assault. The suspect is accused of having engaged in inappropriate activities with the young girl and even using scissors in a horrifying manner. The incident reportedly took place two weeks ago but was only brought to the attention of authorities recently.
An X user, Rich Aunty Amina, shared the distressing account on Wednesday, reporting that the child returned from school complaining of pain. Subsequently, the girl’s mother discovered blood clots, sparking concerns about her well-being. The suspect’s lawyer has reportedly approached the victim’s family with a settlement proposal, but law enforcement is urging against this.

Bright Edafe emphasized the importance of not settling such cases, as it can obstruct the process of justice. He mentioned that parents, especially in rural areas, sometimes accept settlements and withdraw complaints, making it challenging to prosecute suspects. However, in this case, the Delta State Commissioner of Police has directed that the matter be brought to court.
“The area commander just called me that this incident happened two weeks ago, though the owner of the school denied it,” stated Mr. Edafe. “The area commander, Agbor, is currently handling it, and we will provide further updates as the investigation progresses. I can assure you that justice will prevail.”
