Why I rejected N5m to perform at Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Concert – Portable
Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, lamented on Friday that the Tinubu inauguration concert organisers offered him N5 million instead of N10 million for his performance.
According to him, this was the reason he was unable to perform at the concert held in Abuja on Thursday night to celebrate the inauguration of Bola Tinubu as president-elect.

The Zazuu singer posted videos to his Instagram account and wrote, “ZAzuu Them Dn Rip Me oooh Na Me Sing Akoi TINUBU Eja Loni Ibu Give What Belongs To ZAZUU To ZAZUU.”
Portable regrets being left out of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Concert
He stated in one of the videos, “Na me sing Akoi Tinubu o. No be Obi una dey vote for? Tinubu enter now those useless individuals who are not going to perform there, am I to promote Tinubu?
“Na so they call my manager o. Say they desire for me to perform in Abuja. They drop ten million o, but only five million reach portable hand. Therefore, I tear up the paper. I delete the number; why do you complain, Jesus? Na hin no make me perform for Abuja o.”
Wande Coal, KCee, and others performed at the concert, which was also attended by Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima.
