President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja, the nation’s capital, following a two-week trip abroad. The Nigerian leader arrived back at the Presidential Villa in the early hours of Wednesday.

Tinubu’s journey commenced on April 23 when he traveled to the Netherlands to attend a summit on economic growth. Following the conclusion of the three-day event, he proceeded to Saudi Arabia, where he participated in the World Economic Summit (WEF) alongside leaders from various countries.

However, contrary to initial expectations, President Tinubu did not immediately return to Nigeria after the conclusion of the WEF summit. His prolonged stay abroad sparked speculation among some Nigerians, with no official reason provided for the extension.

Earlier reports had indicated that President Tinubu was scheduled to return to Nigeria on Wednesday, as confirmed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
