President Buhari Appoints Ogbole As Member Of Council For Legal Education

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Chief Paul Ogbole (SAN) to the Council for Legal Education (Nigeria Law School).

 

This is stated in a letter signed by Mrs. Jedy Agba, Solicitor General of the Federation, in Abuja.

The appointment of Ogbole, a former member of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Board, began on May 13 and will last for four years, according to Agba.

The Council for Legal Education was founded in 1962 and is responsible for accrediting Nigerian law schools.

 

It is responsible for bar candidates’ legal education, professional training, and discipline.

 

Meanwhile, Obiageli Ezekwesili, a former minister of education, urged President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday to hand over power to her “immediately.”

This was stated by Ezekwesili in a tweet posted to her official Twitter account (@obyezeks).

In a tweet, she referred to Buhari as a “ineffectual Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.”

Her tweet followed the outcry of the President’s supporters regarding his inability to protect the nation and its citizens.

 

The former minister added that she appreciated the support of Buhari’s supporters.

“Let’s ask the incompetent Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, @MBuhari, to hand over power to me immediately so I can satisfy his supporters’ cries over his disgraceful failure to secure the country, its citizens, and its residents. I appreciate their vote of confidence. “I welcome their vote of confidence in me,” she tweeted.

 

She added in another tweet, “Once I realised that demanding action from @MBuhari on any governance issue was tantamount to expecting the impossible, I stopped.
