President Tinubu Vows To Punish Those Responsible for Kaduna Bombing

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emphatically declared that those responsible for the devastating bombardment of Tudun Biri village in Kaduna state will face severe consequences.

The tragic incident occurred during the celebration of the Eid Moulud festival on December 3, resulting in over 90 confirmed casualties due to military action, as reported by Politics Nigeria.

Vice President Kashim Shattima, representing President Tinubu, expressed the President’s deep concern during a visit to Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital on Thursday, December 7.

Tinubu assured the affected community that all victims would receive proper care under the Folako Initiative, set to commence this month. Significantly, this community is slated to be the first to undergo reconstruction as part of this new initiative.

In the wake of the tragedy, President Tinubu emphasized the federal government’s unwavering commitment to combating banditry across the region.

Shattima conveyed Tinubu’s heartfelt condolences to the people of Kaduna State and underscored the government’s dedication to safeguarding the nation’s interests.

The Fulako Initiative, aimed at comprehensive victim care and community rebuilding, is slated to begin this month, with the northwest zone’s reconstruction efforts starting in Kaduna.

President Tinubu assured that measures would be implemented to prevent future occurrences, and a thorough investigation would be conducted to hold anyone found culpable accountable for their actions.
