Naira redesign: Nigerians react to Supreme Court’s latest decision
Nigerians have responded to the Supreme Court’s decision to rule on the naira redesign policy on March 3.
Earlier, the governors of Kaduna, Zamfara, and Kogi states had taken the federal government to the supreme court over the implementation of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Naira redesign policy.

The court issued an ex parte order prohibiting the CBN from eliminating the old N200, N500, and N1000 notes.
However, until April 10, President Muhammadu Buhari instructed the CBN to accept only the old N200 notes as legal tender.
The contradictory directives and orders have caused confusion in the banking industry and among the Nigerian populace as a whole.
As Nigerians prepare for the February 25 presidential election, the court’s decision on Wednesday to postpone judgment until March 3 has added to their anxiety.
Now, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to express their views on the issues arising from the Supreme Court’s upcoming decision.

Former Senator Shehu Sani stated that the Supreme Court’s decision to postpone judgment until March 3 has left the federal and state governments in limbo.
