Samuel Ortom- PDP not genuine with Resolution
Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national leadership on Thursday for their failure to settle the dispute with a number of disgruntled party chieftains.
Ortom charged the Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee (NWC) with being haughty.

Since about mid-last year, the PDP has been involved in an internal conflict that has polarized the opposition party.
Ortom and four other governors (the “G5”) decided not to publicly back Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of their party.
Providing an update on the conflict, Ortom stated that nothing has changed.

“So, no efforts by the leadership of our party have been able to address the issues that we are raising,” Governor Ortom said in a press conference.
They have failed to implement strategies that will appease and placate the G5. This is incorrect. So, that’s where we are on the G5.
