Tinubu Will Only Be President for 6 Months – Atiku’s Aide, Daniel Bwala

INEC, Tinubu, and the APC are listed in the petition as the first, second, and third respondents, respectively.
On Thursday, May 18, the Presidential Election Petition Court will continue the preliminary hearing of the petition filed by the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Recently, when speaking about the petition, Bwala was asked to comment on the APC’s claim that the PDP has the longest history of electoral fraud in the country.
Bwala, who served as the spokesperson for Atiku’s presidential campaign council in the most recent general elections, stated that he could not entirely refute the allegations, but that the PDP had attempted to redeem itself by apologising to Nigerians and promising to do better if given the opportunity to rule again.

He stated, “Over the years, the PDP has admitted to committing numerous errors. I recall a time when Secondus, as party chairman, conducted a nationwide apology tour to inform Nigerians that the PDP was sorry. Has APC ever uttered “We are sorry”?
This party desires to make lying a statecraft. They announced that the president-elect would be travelling on an official visit to meet with investors and conduct other business. How many days has he been away? We have not seen a photograph of him deplaning or investors greeting him.”
Regarding his optimism regarding the PDP’s chances of victory in court, he stated that after Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29 he will only be in office for six or seven months before the PDP seizes power.
“When he (Tinubu) becomes president on May 29, he’ll have about six or seven months before he’s removed from office, and then we’ll seize control,” he said.
