Anas Shuaibu of APGA wins assembly seat in Taraba
The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Anas Shuaibu, the candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the winner of the rerun election for the Karim 2 State Constituency in Taraba State’s House of Assembly.
INEC Returning Officer, Dr. Bawuro Manga of the Federal University Wukari, announced the results in Zailani, the constituency’s administrative center, stating that Shuaibu received 7,104 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Bobbo Bello Bendu of the PDP, who received 6,587 votes.

Therefore, he declared him the victor, elected to office.
Commenting on his electoral victory, Shuaibu thanked God and the people of Karim 2 for their perseverance and tenacity, which contributed to his victory.
He promised to justify the voters’ trust by keeping all of his campaign promises.
He requested the support and prayers of the people of Karim 2 in order to succeed.

Similarly, the independent National Electoral commission, inec has suspended the collation of result in the Adamawa rerun election.
This comes on the heels of the REC officer declaring the APC candidate, Senator Binani the winner of the supplementary election.
Festus Okoye, Inec Spokesman however stated that the action of the REC officer was against the guideline of the electoral body.
