Sokoto deputy governor, Manir Dan’Iya denies purported resignation from PDP
Manir Dan’Iya, who is the deputy governor of Sokoto State, has Debunked down rumors that he is leaving the Peoples Democratic Party.
Aminu Abubakar, who is in charge of press for the office of the deputy governor, told our reporter on the phone that his boss has debunked rumors that he is leaving the party.

Aminu, on the other hand, confirmed that the deputy governor is still a real member of the PDP in the state and a candidate for the party’s Senate seat in the upcoming elections.
He told his supporters, especially PDP members in the state, to ignore the letter that is going around, which he says is made up by his opponents.

“The deputy governor just called me to tell me that he is not leaving the party. He told me that he is still a PDP member in the state,” he said.
