After the emergency meeting with the National Executive Council (NEC) on Friday in Abuja, the president of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, stated that the government, specifically the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), had until Wednesday of next week to revert to the old price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as fuel.

Ajaero added that if the Federal Government did not comply with the ultimatum, nationwide protests would continue indefinitely.
