Chairing the occasion, Fagbemi echoed the Sultan’s sentiments, urging Nigerians to adopt a more encouraging stance towards their leaders. He stressed that positive reinforcement could be more effective than constant criticism in promoting good governance.
The Sultan’s remarks come at a time of widespread economic and political difficulties in Nigeria, with many citizens increasingly voicing frustration over the state of the nation. His message of prayer and hope aims to inspire a more united front in addressing the country’s challenges.
