Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, has been indicted in new court documents from the Northern District of Illinois for drug trafficking and money laundering.

The documents, which were made public by the district court’s Chicago headquarters, do not reveal any new information, but they do validate some of the allegations that have been made about Tinubu’s involvement in drug trafficking in the past.

According to the documents, Tinubu and two other people, K.O. Tinubu and Alhaji Mogati, were involved in laundering money and banking the proceeds of illegal drug sales at Heritage Bank and Citibank.

Tinubu has faced criticism for his involvement in the drug trafficking case since he announced his intention to run for president. He has denied any wrongdoing, but he has not provided any details about his role in the case.

The documents do not indicate whether Tinubu was ever charged with a crime in connection with the drug trafficking case. However, they do show that he was involved in laundering money and banking the proceeds of illegal drug sales.

This is a serious allegation, and it is one that Tinubu will need to address if he wants to be elected president of Nigeria.

The allegations stem from a 1993 case in which the U.S. government sought to seize $460,000 that was allegedly laundered by Tinubu and his associates. The case was eventually dismissed, but the allegations have resurfaced in recent months amid Tinubu’s presidential campaign.

One of the plaintiffs in the case, Kalu Kalu Agu, has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to investigate Tinubu. Agu argues that Tinubu should be held accountable for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

Tinubu has denied the allegations, and his campaign has not responded to requests for comment.

The allegations against Tinubu are serious, and they could have a significant impact on his presidential campaign. If the allegations are proven to be true, it could damage Tinubu’s reputation and make it difficult for him to win the presidency
