The Best FIFA goalkeeper: Dominik Livakovi, who performed heroics for Croatia at the recent 2022 FIFA World Cup and was widely regarded as unlucky not to have won the Golden Glove award, has now been added by FIFA to their list of contenders for The Best Men’s Goalkeeper Award.
The Croatian goalkeeper is one of seven nominees for the Best FIFA Football Award, which will be given on February 27, 2023.

According to FIFA, the number one of Dinamo Zagreb was nominated along with Alisson, Bono, Courtois, Maignan, Martinez, and Neuer.
“In Croatia’s quarterfinal victory over Brazil, Dominik Livakovic gave what is arguably the best performance of any goalkeeper at Qatar 2022.
The game’s 11 saves were the most by a goalkeeper in a World Cup match since 2014, and he was his country’s penalty shootout hero as they defeated the five-time world champions.

The Awards honour accomplishments between 8 August 2021 and 18 December 2022. Edouard Mendy of Chelsea won last year’s award for The Best Male Goalkeeper.
