Tinubu reveals PDP governor who is APC’s “latest partner in progress”

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president in the 2023 election, has referred to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State as “the latest partner in progress.”

This online newspaper gathered that Tinubu said the ruling party will wait for the final decision from Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.

He made this statement through his spokesperson for the southeast, Josef Onoh.

Remember that Governors Samuel Ortom, Nyesom Wike, and Seyi Makinde of the states of Benue, Rivers, and Oyo are also members of the infamous G5, a group of five disgruntled governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the main opposition party. They are also Messrs. Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu.

“We must congratulate Governors Charles Soludo of Anambra State, Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, and Engineer Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.

“These three governors have realized that political allegiances result from a reciprocal “you rub my back and I’d rub yours” situation.
