Tinubu Appoints Khalil Suleiman Halilu as NASENI‘s New CEO
President Bola Tinubu has made a significant change in the leadership of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI). Dr. Bashir Gwandu’s appointment as the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NASENI has been terminated, and Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu has been appointed as his replacement.

This announcement was made via a statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in Abuja on Friday.

According to the statement, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, 32 years old, is expected to bring his extensive experience as an innovator and technology expert to his new role as the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NASENI.
In accordance with the relevant sections of the NASENI Act, 2014, Mr. Halilu will serve an initial term of five years in this important national assignment. The appointment takes immediate effect.
