Tite resigned as head coach of the Selecao following Brazil’s quarterfinal penalty shootout loss to Croatia at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Tite has been the head coach of Brazil since 2016, and the Selecao won the Copa America on home soil in 2019 for the first time in 12 years and the first trophy in 6 years.
