Daniel Evumena, a former Falconets head coach, has passed away.
On Wednesday morning ejesgist.ng was informed of Evumena’s passing.

Nigeria’s captain at the 2008 FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup in Chile was the late tactician.
Nigeria competed in the tournament and lost to France in the quarterfinal round.
Evumena has coached a national team in addition to serving as the head coach of Delta Queens, one of the top teams in the Nigeria Women’s Football League.

Dan Evumena lost his battle with an undisclosed illness, this online newspaper learned.
The late athlete also worked for the government. He left the Nigeria Immigration Service in 2021. (NIS).

The deceased was the Chairman of the Delta State Chapter of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association until his passing.
