Panic and fear have gripped residents around Oba Akran in Ikeja, Lagos, following a shocking helicopter crash that occurred earlier today. The chopper’s details are yet to be confirmed, but eyewitnesses reported that it exploded upon impact with a building situated adjacent to the AP filling station and United Bank for Africa (UBA) on the commercial avenue.

The incident, which took place around 3:30 pm, caused widespread hysteria in the area. Prompt emergency response teams, including the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), rushed to the scene to conduct rescue operations.
