Ole, Ole Thief, Thief – Factional Leader of Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa Booed And Mocked at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja
On Wednesday, Labour Party faction leader Lamidi Apapa was ridiculed by party members.
It occurred after he and members of his faction fought over courtroom seats for Labour Party representatives.
Lamidi Apapa, who has been attempting to assume party leadership since the conclusion of the presidential election, was shielded by police officers and struggled to reach his packed car.
He also attempted to address journalists, but the persistent chants against him prevented him from speaking.

Meanwhile, At least four members of the United States Embassy in Nigeria who were on a humanitarian mission in the state of Anambra have been killed.
On Tuesday, gunmen attacked their vehicle and killed them.

The incident occurred in the Amiyi/Eke Ochuche communities of the state’s Ogbaru Local Government Area.
It is believed that the attackers entered the location where residents were waiting to receive medical care from UNICEF personnel.
DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, spokesman for the Anambra Police Command, said in a statement, “The joint security forces have begun a rescue/recovery operation in Ogbaru LGA, following an attack on a convoy of US Consulate staff today, May 15, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. along the Atani, Osamale road.
Two members of the Police Mobile Force and two Consulate employees were murdered and set ablaze alongside their vehicles by thugs.
Ikenga insisted that “there was no American in the convoy.”
Meanwhile, A Lagos State Magistrates Court remanded Olufumilayo Brioluwa to the Kirikiri correctional facility.
Brioluwa was accused of assaulting a police officer in Lagos State’s Ogombo neighbourhood.

On Tuesday night, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, released a photograph of the suspect holding the police officer’s shirt with both hands while the officer smiled.
According to Hundeyin, Brioluwa will remain incarcerated until June 6, when the case will be heard again.
The incident occurred just two days after the son of Afrobeats legend Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti, was filmed slapping a police officer.
On Monday, Kuti surrendered to the police and was cuffed.
On Tuesday, the police brought him to court seeking a 21-day detention.

However, the court granted the singer bail, effective Tuesday afternoon, 48 hours after the verdict was handed down.
Although the singer who is a Guinness World records holder stated that he had slapped police officers before added that his would not be any different and that he was ready to defend himself against the police in court.
