Nollywood actress Ibinabo Fiberesima has sparked online buzz with a new photo featuring her ex, Fred Amata.
The former couple reunited at the 20th Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), where Ibinabo posed alongside Fred. Posting the pictures on her Instagram an hour ago, Ibinabo referred to him as her daughter’s father and shared her affection for him.
“My pikin papa. Papa Zino @fredomata. We love you”.
In another post, she shared a photo of him and his daughter as she affirmed her love for him.
This comes just days after Ibinabo reunited with Agatha Amata, Fred’s ex-wife. She posted a photo of herself and Agatha with Peter Okoye’s song “Winning” playing in the background, highlighting the lyrics, “I would rather congratulate you than hate you.” Ibinabo also praised herself and Agatha for being strong women and wished them continued success.
To recall, Fred and Agatha ended their marriage in 2005, which produced two children, Oreva (the groom) and Stephanie.
In an interview, Agatha acknowledged that her separation from Fred took a toll on her, despite their marriage not working out. She shared that many still wish she would reconcile with Fred, but emphasized that no one can wish her well more than she can herself.
Agatha also mentioned that she had no intention of leaving her marriage when she got married but realized that an unhappy home cannot nurture happy children. Hence, she makes every effort to co-parent effectively and maintain a friendly relationship, despite the challenges.
Following his split from Agatha, Fred moved on with actress Ibinabo Fiberesima. The two reportedly had a marriage and share a daughter together, co-parenting successfully.
Although there were rumors of them reconciling after they appeared together during Omotola Jalade Ekeinde’s birthday celebration, Ibinabo dismissed the speculation, clarifying that Fred is her child’s father and they maintain a cordial relationship.
