The Prelate has urged Nigerians to remain optimistic, stating that May 29 will be a typical day in their lives.
During the inauguration of the new Methodist Diocese of Awka and the installation of Rt. Rev. Onyekachi Nwakanma as Bishop of Aba, he spoke.
The minister emphasised that the nation cannot afford to disintegrate due to political differences and must instead come together to build a prosperous nation.

According to Aba, nothing unfavourable will occur on May 29. Nigerians must be able to love their nation. Are we pleased with what is occurring in Sudan and Kenya, where 89 people were recently buried as a result of an act of nepotism and the Kenyan government declared it to be an act of terrorism?
“Every Nigerian must work together to advance our nation to the next level. I believe that May 29 will be a typical day in which our citizens will be pleased with their decision to embrace democracy.
“All we know is that there will be only one president, and we must support him,”
